Healthcare

He who has health, has hope. And he who has hope, has everything (Arabian Proverb)

Capital Investment Fund Abu Dhabi is an active investor in the region's healthcare industry and health care is also one of the pillars of our corporate social responsibility program. We hope to promote awareness of successful public health programs and better health outcomes, working toward the day when good health is a right rather than a privilege for all.

"Hope Gala UAE" in support of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) Under the Patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan

We were proud to be a sponsor of the 2011 Hope Gala UAE in support of the KHCF, an independent non-governmental institution dedicated to combating cancer in Jordan and across the Middle East. KHCF is responsible for the King Hussein Cancer Centre (KHCC), which provides state-of-the-art cancer care to more than 3,500 new adult and paediatric patients each year. It is the only facility in the developing world to earn international accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations as a disease-specific cancer centre. Unfortunately, KHCC is overwhelmed by the number of patients seeking treatment and has a lengthy waiting list. Capital Investment Fund Abu Dhabi funds will, in part, contribute to an urgently-needed doubling of KHCC's existing capacity and bed space, eventually allowing for over 7,000 new in-patients and over 130,000 outpatient visits annually.
